We’re Shan(non) and Mike, a Midwest couple with a penchant for partying. If partying means sitting on the couch watching old TV series on DVD together. In that case, we party hard. We also like to read (books, magazines, instruction manuals, whatever), spend time with our friends and family, and play with our cat Oberon who is equal parts adorable and profoundly pissed at the world.
(We recently adopted another kitty, so you should meet him, too. He came to us as Bennie, but we quickly changed it to Lennie. He’s so a Lennie. He’s also a Dinobot Cat.)
We (Shan and Mike) met on match.com – yes you can find love online! – in November 2008. Five months later we were roommates, and a couple months after that we decided to start planning a wedding. We were married on June 12, 2010. You can read all about it here.
